UP Diliman Locale Turns 5 With Fruitful Service and Thanksgiving
With the theme, “Celebrating Apostolic Calling with Abundant Thanksgiving” from Romans 1:5-6, the UP Diliman Locale jubilantly celebrated their 5th Church Anniversary and Thanksgiving Service on the 25th of August. The Sunday School message was delivered by the UP Diliman head pastor, Presbyter Orly Ibarbia where he spoke of God’s love for the world and that He is still in search for those who need salvation.
Afterward, the Worship Service started as the congregation filled the halls with joyful singing which was then followed by the opening prayer led by Sister Judith Matugas. Pastor Elmer Lacson shared the message of giving where his words served as an encouragement to the brethren to be more generous in giving, just as how sufficient God has been.
The UP Diliman Youth Choir and UP Diliman Choir rendered songs of praises and adoration to exalt the wonderful name of the Lord and to thank Him for His faithfulness over the years.
Thereafter, Presbyter Charlie Magbata brought forth the message of God. He elaborated some of the things we must be thankful to the Lord for and that these must lead us to a more fruitful service and thanksgiving.
