Northern Luzon Regional Summer Camp 2019 Renews Faith and Seals Dedication
God’s glorious works in His Church was once more unveiled as the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) Northern Luzon District held its 2nd Camp last May 16 to 19, 2019 at the Global AATF Auditorium and Prayer Mountain with the theme “The Mark of the True Gospel Preached in the End Time” from the book of Romans 16:25. The campsite, which is currently being built in the heart of Benguet Province, was packed with a thousand attendees. A manifestation of the Holy Spirit working amidst everyone was truly eminent.
The remarkable event was jump started with the orientation by Presbyter Reynald Sulayao (North Luzon District Coordinator) followed by the Opening Service where brethren beamed with holy radiance and enthusiasm. Praise and Worship was spearheaded by Master of Ceremony, Tchr. Princess Cabantog, together with Tchr. Jhunrey Sulayao and the Baguio Locale Praise and Worship Team. Songs of adoration were rendered for God’s glory by our brethren from La Trinidad, Benguet and Urdaneta City, Pangasinan.
Some of the newly elected government officials also graced the event and they witnessed and acknowledged the church’s role in promoting goodwill in sharing the word of God and the Christian faith to the people of Northern Luzon.
Ptr. Levi Ferriol, head minister of Marikina locale, powerfully administered the message of blessings. Ultimately, God’s words which urged everyone to look forward for continuous growth and expansion in reaching regions beyond locales that were already opened in Northern Luzon was fervently preached by Bishop Aldrin Palanca, UAE and KSA District Coordinator.
For the succeeding days, brethren basked in God’s sustaining grace as praises and worship were reveled in and special song numbers were lifted unto God by different locales from Bethany, Bethlehem, Philadelphia and Lystra Area. The spiritual thirst of all the campers is quenched as Bishop Aldrin Palanca, Ptr Levi Ferriol and Presbyter Reynald Sulayao alternately ministered the words of God during the seminars.
An evangelical crusade was held at Malcolm Square People’s Park Baguio City where many souls received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and savior. Literary, musical and sport competitions were also conducted simultaneously as the event showcased the God-given gifts and talents of the participants.
The last day of the Northern Luzon Summer Camp was concluded with the dedication and worship service succeeded by the awarding of contest winners and T-Shirt Day where brethren communed together in fellowship to our Lord.
With another recently concluded Regional Camp in Northern Luzon, brethren and ministers alike have renewed and sealed their dedication with arms risen and knees bent – their joyous hearts full and their renewed spirit ready to take on new challenges in faith. (S. Soriano, A. Caniedo)
