Glorifying God’s Abounding Grace in Wellington Church Anniversary
God’s marvelous act in His Church was revealed again globally in the end-time as the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) Wellington New Zealand held its 5th Church Anniversary and Thanksgiving last 25th of November 2018 at Lower Hutt Events Center and Townhall with the theme “Glorifying God’s Abounding Grace through Thanksgiving from the book of 2 Corinthians 4:15.
The recently built and renovated town hall in the heart of Lower Hutt City is the official venue of our event. By God’s grace the hall has been packed with nearly a couple hundred attendees thus a manifestation of the Holy Spirit working amidst to everyone was truly eminent. New Zealand is known for its culture of Racial diversity and harmony, our multi racial nationalities filled in our guests list such as Asians, Kiwis, Europeans, Pacificans, English, Australians and fellow Kababayans filled in our guests list.
A majestic parade of Flags was witnessed in the opening of the Holy worship recognizing the Philippines, NZ and PMCC Flags followed by the entrance of the Partakers and Ministers. Master of Ceremony Bro Angelo Oribiana spearheaded the worship and Song Leader Sis Billie David together with the Wellington Praise and Worship Team.
Pastor Sol Wilson led the congregation with fervent and heartfelt opening prayer. Ptr Noli Campus lead the Scripture reading.
After the introduction to the Keynote speaker ministered by PMCC Wellington Head Pastor in charged Florigen Collo God’s word was powerfully administered by GOD’S Sent one, Beloved Presbyter and Evangelist Leticia Ferriol enlightened the crowd with the significance of believing that there is a living God who has created us, and the love of Jesus Christ His Son who died for us for our salvation. The message also brought great blessings to all the people who heard and challenge the truth and faithfulness of God’s provision to those who follow the right way of Thanksgiving to God .
The Lower Hutt City Council Government from the Office of the Mayor Ray Wallace send in Councilor Glenda Barratt of the Eastern Ward, 1St Secretary Querobine Laccay of the Philippine Embassy and Filifest Chairman Anita Mansell joined us in our celebration. They have recognized and acknowledge the church role in promoting goodwill in sharing the word of God and the Christian Faith to the people of Wellington.
The Holy Spirit truly worked mightily in the midst of the service as our multi-racial guests came forward to express their acceptance to our Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior when Evangelist Leticia Ferriol made an altar call and offer prayers after her preaching.
After the worship service, Cultural and Gospel Concert followed an astonishing experience to see our special guests the Filifest Cultural Group presented our native Filipino cultural dance followed by PMCC WLG Christ’s Vanguards Dance performances.
Truly the Lord is very faithful to His promise, that “He will not forget our good works and Labor of love unto Him”. The dedication in prayer and fasting, invitations and follow ups of guests, planning and every contribution made in this sleepless and tireless preparation, the labor of love and united force of the ministers, committees, and all brethren for this glorious event, was rewarded by God with victory.This momentous celebration will be a remarkable milestone of glorifying God’s abounding grace to His people and will be a benchmark for us to look forward for continuous growth and expansion ng in reaching regions beyond regions of New Zealand!
