With the eagerness to be strengthened, brethren of the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) from the local churches of Gibeon Area gathered at Sta Cruz Elementary School for the Gibeon Area Fellowship last June 24, 2018 guided by the theme, “Suffering is the root of Freedom”, taken from Hebrews 5:7-8.
A warm welcome was delivered by Pastor Luisa Sumatra, establishing a friendly atmosphere in the venue. Pastor Edgar Sumatra then ministered the offertory message compellingly yet inspiringly encourage the brethren in giving faithfully for the work of God.
Pastor Charlie Magbata graced the event as the guest speaker. He expounded persuasively on the theme of the gathering. He gently reminded the congregation that suffering in service of Lord does not come short of His promises.
More than a dozen people were reconciled with the Lord as they wholeheartedly accepted Him as their personal Savior. With this response from the visitors, another successful event was indeed held for the glory of God.
