Day 2: Soldiers Getting Equipped for Watching
After a grand opening program Sunday evening, it’s full steam ahead as usual for the attendees of the 29th International Convention.
Starting it off right with prayer before dawn, the attendees were quick to shake off their sleepiness and immediately proceeded to the complex for the Morning Devotion. Like eager soldiers getting ready for a full day of training, the delegates from all over the world were eager to be provisioned with spiritual equipment via meditation of the words of God delivered by Pastor Levi Ferriol and a short but powerful exhortation from Apostle Arsenio Ferriol.
A quick breakfast, some short get-togethers and exchange of spiritual testimonies and personal experiences of the goodness of God, and it was back to spiritual strengthening again from Seminars delivered by Presbyter Jun Alano, Bishop Resting Zonio, and the Apostle himself.
Several workshops and seminars were done during the afternoon to help delegates specialize in their chosen fields of expertise. A symposium regarding proper use of Social Media was also conducted after a short exhortation by Bishop Art Ferriol.
In the evening, Bishop Osie Quillao delivered the words of God during the Ministries Night. He drew upon the ministry of the Goodman of the House and taught the parallelism between John the Baptist, being the Voice in the Wilderness, and Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol, as the Goodman of the House, as forerunners of Christ.
He mentioned how from the ministry of the apostle, the whole Church was blessed with a complete set of ministries, which continues to expand to answer the growing needs and reach of the mission of evangelism.
The growing and strengthening ministries in the Church are further proof of the Apostle’s wise and faithful ministrations of spiritual gifts in the End-Time Church.
After the bishop’s message, Pastor Sammy Bagcat and Pastor Levi Ferriol led the Church in a gospel concert which brought a reaction from the attending Fourth Watchers the likes of which have never been seen in the Musical Ministry’s history of the Church. This further showcased the now well-developed Music Ministry of the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch).
What other perfect way to end the day’s activities than by launching the third Praise and Worship Album of the Goodman Music. It was a fantastic end to a fantastic day (though by the announcements of meetings and get-togethers after the event, it seems like the evening was far from over for a lot of delegates).
