God’s splendor in His Church was revealed once again globally in the end-time as the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) Auckland, New Zealand held its 6th Church Anniversary and Thanksgiving last Sunday, 9th of September at Sorrento Events , Cornwall Park with the theme “For We are Saved by Grace, Prepared for Good Works” taken from Ephesians 2:8-10.
The venue was filled with more than 140 multi racial guests, the spirit working amidst everyone was truly eminent. As New Zealand is known for its cultural diversity and harmony, many of our guests came from different nationalities like South East Asia, New Zealanders, Indians, British, Australian and our fellow brethren from Wellington, Christchurch and Australia and Kababayans filled the venue.
A majestic parade was witnessed as the entrance of Philippines, New Zealand, PMCC Flags, representing the 3 local churches that has been opened in NZ, Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. Followed by a Shout of Praise from selected AKL Brothers, the Philippine HAKA version of the traditional battle victory cry of NZ culture. Welcoming the Partakers and Ministers, the crowd was thrilled as we begin our worship ceremony.
Master of Ceremony Sis Mia Vargas spearheaded the worship with utmost singing of praises backed up by the Auckland Praise and Worship Team. Wellington locale minister Sis Gene Colio led the congregation with fervent and heartfelt opening prayer. Bro. Andy Orbiana , minister of Christchurch locale led the reading of the Scriptures.
A warm greetings and welcome Remarks from Pastor Noli Campus and Sis Mia Campus together with Achaia Coordinator, Presbyter Olivia Liamson, enlivened the crowd.
It was also an astonishing experience to see and hear the exceptional song of Quartet , Wellington brethren, Christchurch brethren and the grand voices of the Auckland brethren Choir.
God’s word was powerfully ministered by Evangelist Leticia Ferriol which enlightened the congregation with the significance of believing that there is a living God who has created us, and the love of Jesus Christ His Son who died for us for our salvation and His glorious grace. She also brought great blessings to all the people who heard and challenge the truth and faithfulness of God’s provision to those who follow the right way of Thanksgiving.
The holy spirit truly worked mightily in the midst of the service as many of the guest, including foreign nationals came forward to express their acceptance and belief to Lord Jesus Christ when the Pastor Let made an altar call and offer prayers after her preaching.
This momentous event will be a remarkable benchmark to move forward for a continuous growth and expansion as we remain dedicated and faithful in fulfilling the WORK OF CHRIST in Auckland New Zealand
