Months of prayer and fasting brought about the triumphant and awe-inspiring opening of the 28th International Convention last October 15, 2017 held at AATF Sports Complex, Malagasang, Imus, Cavite. As the flags of the nations where the PMCC (4th Watch) was established paraded the aisle, the Church council members, bishops, partakers of the event, and most especially, the beloved Evangelist, Pastor Leticia Ferriol, together with the Goodman of the House, Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol, followed drawing the congregation in glee in the sight of the pioneers of the End-time Church.
Joyful singing of songs of praises were headed by the Manila Locale Praise and Worship team. Brother Kemuel Quillao encouraged the brethren into giving out the best of their energies in praising God,
Malagasang youth and brethren from Goshen and Smyrna areas offered their praises with heavenly voices and some with their spectacular dance numbers.
Bishop Aldrin Palanca reiterated the ways on how the brethren should elevate the quality of their offerings for God. He instilled in the minds and hearts of the congregation the fact that giving should not be for the purpose of the rewards in forms of blessings, but rather the Church should give simply because God deserves all the glory and praise.
Establishing a friendly atmosphere, Bishop Arturo Ferriol welcomed the brethren and visitors with warm greetings. He also introduced the keynote speaker of the night.
It was a blessing to hear the beloved Goodman of the House, Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol, convey the Word instructing the brethren the significance of obeying the apostolic teachings. “We have to learn obedience through the apostolic teachings”, the Apostle declared. It is from the apostles that the people can find guarantee the validity and assurance of the truth that is the Word of God. Understanding the importance of obedience in preaching the gospel is the start of accepting the Word. Doing otherwise is a sign that we reject God.
The apostle concludes with a prayer for every one…
“Make me a true missionary”
Smiles, handshakes, hugs, and warm greetings may have overflowed the complex, but nothing compares the joy and the renewed dedication from the brethren through the Holy Spirit upon the end of the opening service of the 28th International Convention. Indeed, it was a beginning of a glory about to unfold.
